Annapurna Base Camp Trek – 13 Days

Annapurna Base Camp Trek that can be a lifetime memory of your with a manageable itinerary as you wish. The normal itinerary for this Trek is 15 day; which is the best for your health and to make your body properly acclimatized.

It is almost 40km to the North of Pokhara.  Besides thatIt is the only sanctuary where you can visualize very high mountains to the closest that your eye could see.

Annapurna Trails are fully surrounded by ring mountains, which are almost above 7000m elevation and Mt. Annapurna itself has an elevation of a height of 8091m and the 14th highest mountain in the world.

similarly, Annapurna Valley covers a total native people; Gurung people.   Annapurna Base Camp Trek go right through two big mountains Mt. Hiunchuli (6441m) at left and Mt.  Machapuchare (6993m) and their glacier run through a river called Modi Khola.

This Trail gives you sight to many great mountains such as Mt. Dhaulagiri  8167m, (26,795 ft) and Mt. Annapurna I 8091m, (26,545 ft), Machapuchare 6,993 m (22,943 ft) and many others diverse landscapes, charming villages, and lush forests as you make your way to the base of the magnificent Annapurna Base Camp. Furthermore, this Valley covers  Tropical Jungles of Rhodendron and bamboos.

Itinerary

  • Day 01: Arrival day in Kathmandu (1,300m /4,265 feet)

    On this day you will be landed at the Capital City of Nepal-Kathmandu (1300m/4265 ft). It is the only International Airport of Nepal. You will be received by Sherpa Himalaya Representative.

    Then with a brief introduction you will be welcomed by flower Garland. You will be Taken to your Hotel where you can rest and freshen up to keep away Jet Lag. You will get a nearby location map from hotel reception and you can explore around.

    Overnight at KTM Hotel

  • Day 02: Drive / Flight from kathmandu to Pokhara Flight/ Drive (823m/2,700feet)

    Today we will either drive or take a flight to Pokhara. For flight will will take around 30-40 minutes depending upon the weather. If you take the option to travel by Vehicle then it will take around 8-9 hours normally. The time will take more if you get into traffic.

  • Day 03: Drive from Pokhara to Hile and Trek to Ulleri (2,050 m/6725 feet), 5 - 6 hours

    Today will be the first day of Trek. As we finish our breakfast we will have a short drive to Hile. It will take around one and half hour of Drive.

    As we reach Hile we will start our Trek towards Ulleri. It will take 4-5 hours of Trek to reach Ulleri.

  • Day 04: Trek from Ulleri to Ghorepani (2,850 m/ 9,350 feet), 4 - 5 hours trek

    Today as we finish our breakfast we will head towards Ghorepani. With normal uphill Trek of 4-5 hours through the rhododendron forest enjoying small village you will reach Ghorepani in the afternoon.

    This is also the last point of a short Trek called Ghorepani Poonhill Trek. This point provides you beautiful himlayan range of Annapurna Range mountains.

  • Day 05: Trek from Ghorepani to Chuele (2,245m /7,365 feet) 6-7 hours

    Today early in the morning we will make a short hike to Poonhill 3200m to enjoy the beautiful morning sunrise view over the Annapurna Range himalayas.

    After enjoying the beautiful time we will go back to Ghorepani and have our breakfast head towards Chuele.

    Today the trek will be bit longer. Your Trek will be 6-7 hours Trek.

  • Day 06: Trek from Chuele to Sinuwa (2,300m /7,546 feet ) 6 -7 hou

    Today we will head towards Sinuwa. The height of Sunuwa is 23oom and todaay the trail will be 6-7 hours long.

    We will start our Trek with normal descend and then we will cross a small bridge. Our lunch destination will be Chumrong which is reached with normal slight uphill Trek.

    As we finish our lunch we will head towards our overnight camp with again slight descend and crossing over second bridge.

    Today the Trek will be very interesting and nature friendly. Very safe trails through light jungle crossing rivers enjoying birds song.

  • Day 07: Trek from Sinuwa to Deurali (3,200m /10,498 feet) 6-7 hrs

    As we finish our Breakfast we will start our Trek towards Deurali. The trail to Deurali is similar to the past day.

    We will pass through normal forest crossing small rivers with slight descends and Ascend.

    Our lunch will be at Himalayan hotel. After a short rest we will head for our Overnight stay location. As we head ahead we will encounter one of the biggest cave on the trail. This trail is known as Hinku Cave.

    As we finish exploring our trail we will soon cross a small rive and then reach Deurali which lies to the next side of hill.

  • Day 08: Trek from Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m/13,545feet) via Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3700m/12135feet), 5- 6 hours

    Finally, the final destination has come. Today we will reach to the base of Mt Annnapurna. This destination has become a dream come true day for many people and a motivational, inspiring and emotional destination for many.

    Soon after we finish our breakfast we will head to achieve or reach our final destination Annapurna Base Camp Trek. Today we will have more uphill trek then earlier.

    Our trail will be passing between two big mountains of Mt. Machhapuchhare and Hiunchuli. We will first receive Macchapuchhare Base Camp and with 2 hours of walk we will reach our final destination; Annapurna Base Camp.

    We will keep our luggage and other bags in the Hotel at Annapurna Base Camp and then starts to explore around taking beautiful pictures around.

  • Day 09: Trek from Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo(2,400m /7,874 feet ) 7 - 8 hours

    Early Morning you can enjoy a breathtaking sunrise over Mt. Annapurna. This view can be breath taking and one of the best and memorable sight throughout the trail.

    As we finish our breakfast we will similarly descend back towards Bamboo.

    The Bamboo lies above the Sinuwa camp where we had stayed earlier.

  • Day 10: Trek from Bamboo to Jhinu Danda (1,760m/5770 feet), 5 - 6 hours

    Today our camp will be at Jhinu Danda. Annapurna Base Camp Trek trail offers different trail for returning back which makes the trail more interesting and beautiful.

    As always after finishing our breakfast we will descend down towards Jhinu Danda. You will have to make uphill climb to Chhomrong and again descend down to Jhinu. This beautiful place offers you a hot spring spot which gives you perfect place for refreshment from the long Trek.

  • Day 11: Trek from Jhinu Danda to Pokhara (823m/2,700feet), 4-6 hours

    Finally today we will reach to the capital town; Pokhara City. We will start our Trek down early morning and reach Siwai. Then we will drive to Pokhara by local jeep available there.

  • Day 12: Drive / Flight Pokhara to Kathmandu Drive or Flight

    Today we will fly / Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu as planned with Company.  You will be picked by Sherpa Himalaya representative and dropped to Hotel.

    After this beautiful and adventurous Annapurna Base Camp Trek, you can have a proper rest at your hotel.

    On timely arrival to Kathmandu, you can use the free day as a day to explore and shop for your family or else you can also make short city tour.

  • Day 13: Final departure

    Today morning you Sherpa Himalaya representative will be there at your hotel for last meet. You will be dropped at airport considering airport time.
