Shortest Annapurna Base Camp Trek – 10 Days, Annapurna base camp trek is an amazing walk through diverse landscapes and culture complete with rich mountain vistas, terraced fields, quaint Gurung villages, and a wide variety of flora and fauna. Mt. Annapurna (8091m) of Nepal is the 10th highest mountain in the world. The journey to its base camp, which is at 4130m/13549ft height, is one of the most popular walks on earth. Moreover, we reach our destination via Mt. Machapuchhre (Fishtail) which is revered by the Nepalese for its unique beauty. Furthermore, thanks to the well-groomed itinerary of the Annapurna Base Camp trekking package. Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
On this day you will be landed at the Capital City of Nepal-Kathmandu (1300m/4265 ft). It is the only International Airport of Nepal. You will be received by Sherpa Himalaya Representative.
Then with a brief introduction you will be welcomed by flower Garland. You will be Taken to your Hotel where you can rest and freshen up to keep away Jet Lag. You will get a nearby location map from hotel reception and you can explore around.
Overnight at KTM Hotel
- Day 02: Drive / Flight from kathmandu to Pokhara (823m/2,700feet)
Today we will either drive or take a flight to Pokhara. For flight will will take around 30-40 minutes depending upon the weather. If you take the option to travel by Vehicle then it will take around 8-9 hours normally. The time will take more if you get into traffic.
Overnight at Pokhara
- Day 03: Drive to Jhinu(1760m) from Pokhara(2 hours) and trek to Chhomrong (2,170 m/7,119 feet) (2 hours)
As we finish our breakfast we will drive from Pokhara to Siwai. As we reach Siwai we will head towards Jhinu Danda. Jhinu Danda is a small place on hill which will take around 3 hours of Trek.
- Day 04: Trek from Chhomrong To Bamboo (2400m)
Today will be a tough day. As usual after we finish our breakfast we will head towards Bamboo. Bamboo is the final destination of the day.
The trail is mixed with uphill and downhill with normal slopes. We will first climb up to Chhomrong and then descend downhill and cross a river with following uphill trek reaching Sinuwa and then Bamboo.

- Day 05: Trek from Bamboo to Deurali 3200m
Today we will head towards Deurali. Today our Trek will be around 6-7 hours long. Our trail will be all through river side through gorge of two big hills.
The trails are filled with mostly small bamboo plants and trees.
Overnight at Deurali
- Day 06: Trek from Deurali to Annapurna Base camp(4130m)
Finally, the final destination has come. Today we will reach to the base of Mt Annnapurna. This destination has become a dream come true day for many people and a motivational, inspiring and emotional destination for many.
Soon after we finish our breakfast we will head to achieve or reach our final destination Annapurna Base Camp Trek. Today we will have more uphill trek then earlier.
Our trail will be passing between two big mountains of Mt. Machhapuchhare and Hiunchuli. We will first receive Macchapuchhare Base Camp and with 2 hours of walk we will reach our final destination; Annapurna Base Camp.
We will keep our luggage and other bags in the Hotel at Annapurna Base Camp and then starts to explore around taking beautiful pictures around.
Overnight at Annapurna Base Camp
- Day 07: Trek back to Bambo from Annapurna Base Camp
Early Morning you can enjoy a breathtaking sunrise over Mt. Annapurna. This view can be breath taking and one of the best and memorable sight throughout the trail.
As we finish our breakfast we will similarly descend back towards Bamboo.
Overnight at Bamboo
- Day 08: Trek to Jhinu and drive to Pokhara
Today as we finish our breakfast and head back to Siwai following the river between two hills. You will need 5-6 hours of trek.
As we reach Siwai we will take a rive to Pokhara. We will reach there by end of afternoon so, after getting fresh from long trek you can enjoy walking through the lake side.

- Day 09: Drive from Pokhara to kathmandu
oday we will fly / Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu as planned with Company. You will be picked by Sherpa Himalaya representative and dropped to Hotel.
After this beautiful and adventurous Annapurna Base Camp Trek, you can have a proper rest at your hotel.
On timely arrival to Kathmandu, you can use the free day as a day to explore and shop for your family or else you can also make short city tour.
- Day 10: Final Departure
Today morning you Sherpa Himalaya representative will be there at your hotel for last meet. You will be dropped at airport considering airport time.
