Day 12: Arrival in kathmandu (1,300 m / 4,265 ft)
Your journey begins with your arrival in Kathmandu (1,300 m / 4,265 ft), the vibrant capital city and main international gateway to Nepal via Tribhuvan International Airport. Upon landing, you will be warmly welcomed by a representative from Sherpa Himalaya, who will greet you with a traditional flower garland and a brief introduction to your upcoming adventure. Afterward, you will be comfortably transferred to your hotel, where you can relax, freshen up, and recover from jet lag, preparing yourself for the exciting Himalayan journey ahead.

- Day 02: Drive / Fly to Pokhara, drive to Syauli Bazaar and trek to Ghandruk
The journey from Kathmandu (1,300 m) to Pokhara (822 m) is the first step of this scenic adventure, either by a short 25–30 minute flight or a 6–8 hour drive through Nepal’s beautiful countryside. From Pokhara, a short drive of 2-3 hours leads to Syauli Bazaar.
From Syauli Bazaar (approx. 1,200 m), the trek to Ghandruk (2,012 m) takes around 2–3 hours, following a gentle uphill trail through terraced fields, lush forests, and traditional Gurung settlements. Along the way, trekkers are rewarded with stunning close-up views of Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Annapurna South, and Hiunchuli.
This short and rewarding route offers a peaceful trekking experience in a less-crowded section of the Annapurna foothills, where nature, culture, and mountain scenery come together beautifully. Ghandruk itself is a charming village known for its stone houses, warm hospitality, and panoramic Himalayan views, making it a perfect introduction to trekking in Nepal.

The trail climbs steadily through terraced farmlands, traditional villages, and dense rhododendron and oak forests, offering a refreshing and culturally rich trekking experience.
Along the way, trekkers are treated to occasional glimpses of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges, especially from open sections before entering the forested trails.
Ghorepani is a famous trekking hub known for its panoramic mountain views and its proximity to the iconic Poon Hill sunrise viewpoint, making it a perfect and rewarding stop on the Annapurna trekking circuit.

- Day 09: Early Morning sunrise view from Poon Hill and trek back Banthainti (2-3 hours) and then Drive back to Pokhara (2-3 hours)
An early morning hike to Poon Hill (3,210 m) offers one of the most spectacular sunrise views in the Annapurna region, with golden light illuminating Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Machhapuchhre ranges. After enjoying the panoramic scenery, you descend to Banthanti (2,210 m) in about 2–3 hours through peaceful rhododendron forests. From here, a scenic 2–3 hour drive takes you back to Pokhara (822 m), passing through green hills and terraced landscapes, marking a beautiful end to your Himalayan journey.
- Day 10: Flight / Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu
Today, you will either fly or drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu as per your travel plan. If you choose to fly, the journey takes approximately 25–30 minutes, offering breathtaking aerial views of the Annapurna and Himalayan ranges. Alternatively, the drive takes around 6–8 hours, passing through scenic hills, rivers, and traditional countryside landscapes.
Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be warmly received by a Sherpa Himalaya representative and transferred to your hotel. After completing your incredible Annapurna Circuit with Jomsom trek, this is the perfect time to relax and unwind. Depending on your schedule, you may also explore the vibrant city, enjoy some local shopping, or take a short sightseeing tour around Kathmandu.

- Day 11: Final Departure
On your final day in Kathmandu, a Sherpa Himalaya representative will meet you at your hotel for a warm farewell before your departure. You will be comfortably transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport in time for your flight, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free exit from Nepal.
Before saying goodbye, the team will express their gratitude for sharing this incredible Himalayan journey with you. As a token of appreciation, you will be presented with a traditional Buddhist scarf (Kha-tak), symbolizing peace, prosperity, long life, and harmony, along with a certificate marking your successful completion of the Annapurna Circuit with Jomsom Trek.
