Itinerary

  • Day 01: Arrival day in Kathmandu (1,300m /4,265 feet)

    Your journey begins with your arrival in Kathmandu (1,300 m / 4,265 ft), the vibrant capital city and main international gateway to Nepal via Tribhuvan International Airport. Upon landing, you will be warmly welcomed by a representative from Sherpa Himalaya, who will greet you with a traditional flower garland and a brief introduction to your upcoming adventure. Afterward, you will be comfortably transferred to your hotel, where you can relax, freshen up, and recover from jet lag, preparing yourself for the exciting Himalayan journey ahead.

  • Day 02: Drive / Flight from kathmandu to Pokhara Flight/ Drive (823m/2,700feet)

    The journey from Kathmandu (1,300 m / 4,265 ft) to Pokhara (823 m / 2,700 ft) is a scenic and essential part of any Annapurna trekking adventure. Travelers can choose between a short 25–30 minute flight or a 6–8 hour drive.

    The flight offers breathtaking aerial views of the Himalayas, including Annapurna and Machhapuchhre, making it a quick and memorable experience. Alternatively, the drive follows winding roads alongside rivers, terraced fields, and traditional villages, providing a closer look at Nepal’s countryside and local life.

    Although there is no trekking involved on this day, this journey serves as the perfect introduction to the Annapurna region. Upon arrival, Pokhara welcomes you with its peaceful lakeside setting and stunning mountain backdrop, preparing you for the adventure ahead.

  • Day 03: Drive from Pokhara to Hile (1,430 m / 4,691 ft) and Trek to Ulleri (2,050 m/6725 feet), 5 - 6 hours

    The trip begins with a drive from Pokhara to Hile, which takes approximately 2–3 hours through winding roads, river valleys, terraced fields, and traditional villages. From Hile (around 1,430 m / 4,691 ft), the trek to Ulleri takes about 2–3 hours on a steep stone staircase trail with over 3,000 steps.

    During the trek, travelers are rewarded with stunning views of lush green hills, waterfalls, and distant Himalayan peaks including Annapurna South and Machapuchare (Fishtail). The trail passes through charming Magar villages, offering a glimpse into local culture and mountain lifestyle.

    Ulleri (2,070 m / 6,791 ft) is a beautiful hillside village surrounded by terraced farmlands and mountain scenery, making it a perfect resting point before continuing deeper into the Annapurna region.

    The trail passes through dense bamboo and rhododendron forests, crossing rivers, waterfalls, and stone staircases before gradually opening into more rugged alpine terrain. As you gain altitude, the vegetation becomes thinner and the scenery more dramatic and remote.

    The trail retraces the route through Deurali and Machapuchare Base Camp, gradually descending along glacial valleys, river crossings, and rocky forest paths. As you lose altitude, the air becomes warmer and the landscape transitions from alpine terrain to lush bamboo and rhododendron forests.

    Bamboo offers a quiet and relaxing stop in the forest, perfect for rest after the incredible experience at Annapurna Base Camp.

  • Day 10: Trek from Bamboo to Jhinu Danda (1,760m/5770 feet), 5 - 6 hours

    The trek from Bamboo (2,310 m / 7,579 ft) to Jhinu Danda (1,760 m / 5,774 ft) takes approximately 5–6 hours and offers a beautiful descent through the lower Annapurna region.

    The trail passes through dense bamboo and rhododendron forests, stone steps, small settlements, and scenic hillside landscapes. Along the way, trekkers can enjoy refreshing views of Mt. Machapuchare, Annapurna South, and Hiunchuli while walking alongside rivers and terraced fields.

    As you approach Jhinu Danda, the environment becomes warmer and more relaxed, with the option to visit the natural hot springs near the Modi Khola River—an ideal way to relax after days of trekking.

  • Day 11: Drive from Jhinu Danda to Pokhara (823m/2,700feet)
    The drive from Jhinu Danda (1,760 m / 5,774 ft) to Pokhara (823 m / 2,700 ft) takes approximately 2.5–3.5 hours, depending on road and weather conditions.

    The journey follows a scenic off-road and highway route through the beautiful hills of the Annapurna region, passing terraced farmlands, rivers, waterfalls, and traditional villages. Along the way, travelers enjoy refreshing views of lush green landscapes and distant Himalayan foothills.

    As the road descends toward Pokhara, the scenery gradually opens into wider valleys and calm countryside views. The drive offers a comfortable and relaxing conclusion to the Annapurna Base Camp trek, bringing you back to the peaceful lakeside city of Pokhara.

  • Day 12: Drive / Flight Pokhara to Kathmandu Drive or Flight

    Today, you will either fly or drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu as per your travel plan. If you choose to fly, the journey takes approximately 25–30 minutes, offering breathtaking aerial views of the Annapurna and Himalayan ranges. Alternatively, the drive takes around 6–8 hours, passing through scenic hills, rivers, and traditional countryside landscapes.

    Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be warmly received by a Sherpa Himalaya representative and transferred to your hotel. After completing your incredible Annapurna Circuit with Jomsom trek, this is the perfect time to relax and unwind. Depending on your schedule, you may also explore the vibrant city, enjoy some local shopping, or take a short sightseeing tour around Kathmandu.

  • Day 13: Final departure

    Today morning you Sherpa Himalaya representative will be there at your hotel for last meet. You will be dropped at airport considering airport time.
